There's nothing better than a story about a house with secrets. And the one featured in this story has many. One thing I liked about this story is it started as what I thought would be a romantic suspense between two characters and then to my surprise, more characters showed up.

The author did a good job unfolding the back story about all the murders that had taken place and it gave the tale an eerie feel. The pacing was fast which made it a quick read. I would have liked to have seen this story longer so that the characters could have been fleshed out a little more and I would have gotten the chance to know them more in depth.

However, if you're looking to read a quick eerie tale, especially for Halloween, this might be one for you.

A sexy story of three wayward girls – a very entertaining read

These characters are real. Those of us who have led a certain type of existence know them, and Toy Davis manages to bring them back to life for us in a most vivid, gripping and amusing way.  The book meanders through encounters, romances, betrayals, new opportunities and behaviours very typical of so many of us.
The confused sexualities and frequent casual sexual exploits add interest and intrigue to the even more frequent dramas.  Darnisa, Jasmine and Faye stumble through their disorganised lives, with Darnisa usually leading them on in an amusing and entertaining way.
The book ends with the realization of even more betrayal, but with the prospect of a replacement conquest not far away.
Altogether it is a fascinating study and enjoyable tale of sex, ever changing relationships and disappointment.  Each page makes you want to read more, and the end leaves you wanting more, as a good book should.  I look forward to reading the rest of the series.  This author will certainly break into the big time soon.
